Wilde: Nixon Noise and Banks Alarm

Jason Wilde joins Homer to sort through what matters and what does not during Packers training camp. Wilde says Keisean Nixon is still likely to be Green Bay’s top cornerback, even if the Packers are using practice reps and public pressure to reinforce that he has to tackle better. He explains that Brandon Cissé may be the next No. 1 corner eventually, but Nixon remains the more realistic option for Week 1 unless something drastic changes. Wilde is much more concerned about the offensive line, especially Aaron Banks’ knee issue and how little he has worked next to Jordan Morgan. He says Banks getting back into team drills is encouraging, but the Packers still need a clearer plan for how he will handle the season if the injury continues to linger.
