Wilde: Sit Love and Save the Stars

Jason Wilde joins Ben Brust on the Homer Hour to discuss Packers-Steelers preseason week and Aaron Rodgers’ return to the Packers conversation from Pittsburgh. Wilde says Rodgers was disappointed the preseason matchup was not at Lambeau Field and explains why a return to Green Bay would have created a much different atmosphere. He also says Jordan Love should not play in the preseason because the Packers already saw the danger last year when Love tore a ligament in his non-throwing thumb during a preseason game. Wilde argues the same caution should apply to Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft, while the offensive line should still get major work because that group lacks cohesion. He also weighs in on Jonathan Gannon’s fiery personality and says fans should care less about coaching style and more about whether the Packers win.
