Wildfire Smoke and Safety Issues

A brush fire erupted Wednesday in Lehi’s Traverse Mountain area, burning ten acres and forcing evacuations as strong winds and record dry conditions fueled the blaze. Smoke worsened already poor air quality, and while firefighters contained it quickly, another urgent issue emerged: people ignoring warnings and wandering into active fire zones — hiking, biking, even flying drones — putting lives at risk. Law enforcement is stepping up enforcement, but they’d rather folks stay out until it’s safe. This isn’t isolated — recent incidents include trespassing on restricted zones and driving through burned areas. Thankfully, Texas Instruments’ property was unaffected, though the fire’s cause remains under investigation. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
