Wildlife habitat easement planned in Rock Township

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) recently secured a habitat easement from Rocky Ridge Farm LLP on approximately 211 acres in Section 2 of Rock Township, about five miles east of Holland. Representatives of the USFWS attended the March 10 Pipestone County Commissioners meeting to notify the commissioners of the easement and request that they certify the acquisition, which they did.
