Wildwood looking to sell more than 3 acres of vacant bayfront property

It used to be a sewer plant and is next to what was a landfill -- but hey, that's prime real estate at the Jersey Shore. Wildwood is looking to sell more than 3 acres of vacant bayfront property. It's off Susquehanna Avenue, near the Byrne Community Center. Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. told the Philadelphia Business Journal the site is "basically one of one" along the entire coastline. He says Wildwood has an abundance of commercial properties with lower taxable values, and needs more homes to compete with Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood. (Photo credit: Getty Images)
