Wilkins Eyes Left Tackle Role | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin’s offensive line just got a giant upgrade with the addition of 6’6”, 340-pound PJ Wilkins, a transfer from Ole Miss who’s poised to start at left tackle despite limited experience there. Coaches rave about his wingspan, “tackle feet,” and physical dominance, betting his raw talent can overcome the learning curve. If he nails it, he could become a cornerstone; if not, backup Lucas Simmons-Johansson is ready to step in. The consensus? Wilkins will start Week 1 — and while he may not dazzle immediately, he’s expected to deliver steady, reliable play at a position the Badgers have struggled with.
