Will AI Destroy Humanity?

This for researcher from Anthropic and OpenAI warned that there is a greater than 10% chance of AI killing all of humanity within this decade. Geoffrey Hinton, the Nobel Prize winning godfather of AI, admitted to the BBC that this estimate was not unreasonable. Some are calling AI the world’s greatest super weapon, while others call it a god in a box. Does the Bible offer any possibility of AI eliminating humanity? The Bible’s depiction of the Tribulation requires millions of living people, so that nations can be judged and a Jewish generation to receive their Messiah upon His return. So, I do not believe that AI will end humanity, but I do believe it will be the most powerful tool that the Antichrist has at his disposal.
