On May 21, Australians voted in a new government, ousting Prime Minister Scott Morrison, one of the fossil fuel industry's biggest allies. Anthony Albanese, the leader of the Labor party, has said that Australia can “end the climate wars” and will push to make Australia a renewable energy superpower. We spoke with Glen Klatovsky, Acting Executive Director for Climate Action Australia, to discuss what the future of domestic and international climate governance in Australia might look like under new leadership.
