Will Levis, Xavier Restrepo OUT as Titans Trim Roster to 53

The Tennessee Titans’ roster continues to take shape following one of the NFL calendar’s busiest stretches. On this episode of Bleav in Titans, we react to Tennessee cutting its roster to an initial 53 players, including the decision to move on from former starting quarterback Will Levis. We discuss the biggest surprises, the players who earned their spots and the areas where the roster still raises concerns. We also break down the Titans’ newest additions after the team claimed linebacker Owen Pappoe, defensive back Melvin Smith and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse off waivers, while adding offensive tackle James Hudson III and safety Terrell Burgess. Who could make an immediate impact—and what do the corresponding roster moves tell us about the new regime’s priorities? Plus, we examine the 16 players returning on Tennessee’s initial practice squad and identify which names could eventually contribute during the regular season. The preseason is over, but the Titans’ roster-building process is far from finished. Follow Chris on X/Instagram: @chrisbelcher24 Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
