The Golden Gophers brought many key players back, including young running back Darius Taylor and offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery, and added quarterback Max Brosmer from the transfer portal. The offensive line should be strong, but there are questions at wide receiver and tight end. The defense was atrocious last year, but they return 9 starters and 74% of their returning production from 2023. Both sides of the ball should be better and PJ Fleck has a workable schedule.
