This is the place where sports experience a lot of dead and sports, I mean, it's gonna be in joining me on the show. We have Shelton, Spike, FIFO, and Nick with Q joining us in a bit. What's going on fellas? What's going on?

But without further ado, it is now time for us to get into sports talk of the week. And we are going to kick off our first quarter with the best sports performance of the week.

Brought to you by The Good Hunters Podcast. How about that? I wish you guys could check out Spike and crew talking about the Sopranos. I am still Spike stuck on season three episode, whatever.

So we're gonna let you two episodes. We have two episodes left in the series and then we'll have reviewed every episode. We'll have reviewed every episode seen for scene shot for shot. So two episodes left.

Nick, you are insane, bro. I have to say, I respect your TV opinion sometimes. And you're not like a sister. You should respect it.

But I just didn't like it. I just think you watch Tyler Perry. So I take away from it. I was so tired of it.

The only one I did watch was the Queen's, what is it called? All the Queen's Man or something like that? Hey, you watch all the Tyler Perry shit. You were funny and heavy, bro.

Really? Yeah, because it's people's roles. You're like, you know, not to be confused on the sports for the night. But not kidding.

Queen, all the Queen's member. You're a fucking stupid shit. And it's messy. And that goes my point.

Why we don't respect your TV opinion? Because you suggest that people watch the television shows. I say people out of it can't. You just say first of all, what you got, show.

Yeah, my best performance of the week goes to the Lady Game Parks of South Carolina. And Don Staley, they won their third consecutive sweep of the SEC Championship and the SEC Tournament Championship. These girls on the road, man. If you hadn't had a chance to check them out this year, take a look at them.

And they're not at full staff right now. They're missing Watkins, the one who dumped last year on the outside of it. But she's the most athletic person on the team. She'll be back for the tournament.

They almost got back to the number one spot. They had three losses this year. One to Texas, which they beat twice. And they just ran through everybody in SEC Tournament.

So shout out to Don Staley. Man, she continues to grow and do great things. She's taking over that top spot from Geno. Or Yama, even though he beat her this year.

I still think Don is at the top of the mountain. And the Lady Game Parks are number two in the women's rankings right now as far as the tournament sees go. So take a look at them. Make sure you check out this women's tournament.

It's gonna be exciting to watch. And the Game Parks are still on top. I'm excited about the women's tournament. It's gonna be a good one this year.

It's gonna be really, really good. You got some awesome ball players that's gonna show up tournament time. That Connecticut team that's super tough, the young pups is tough. And they hooked up on South Carolina earlier this year.

So it'll be good to see what South Carolina does with them. Now, Texas is tough too. But like I said, USC has, you know, one of the best players, but the best player. Yeah, the best player will say, but still, it's just, I don't think they have enough to make any noise in the tournament.

Lady Game Arts is a crazy. I know. And I'll fuck with Don Staley. That's it.

And that'll bring you to the score. I don't know what will look like. Yeah, he probably don't have any issues recruiting it. Well, we got some over here.

We got some over here. We got some. We got some. You got the ladies on your own.

We came for the game. You can say the rest. All right, man. Yeah, every, we're gonna go.

We're gonna go ahead and jump off this. Because this is about to spiral out of trouble. I'm watching to the chat. I'm watching the rival.

It's been really good. I'm enjoying seeing an injury sweep and issue. It's better than NBA. See, every, every Sunday I hear Jalen and B talk about women's basketball.

You know, rival going in. Can't it? It's a good man. Like it's interesting.

It is. That ain't even a fun day. It's NBA players. They play one on one.

Stay out there. Go on, bro. What's the price? So, so, injuries balling?

Yeah. All right. We'll see if it, if it, um, pops up on one of our segments moving forward. Somebody might have to jump in.

I can't, the last time I tried to do that lose on one that was talking shit. Hey, but did you all see what Antonio Brown said about them? I don't know if y'all gonna come in there, but I'm sorry. I just had to hold it.

Anyway, the Oklahoma City Thunder OKC have won nine of their last in games and are currently on the seven game winning streak as of March 9th after defeating the Denver Nuggets on Sunday 1 27 to 1 0 3 is Sha Gilchis Alexander the undisputed NBA MVP. I'm sorry of the NBA season. And do you guys think they are a lock for the NBA finals? I don't know about Shae being a lock at MVP.

Definitely a top two contender. To me, it's still Joker right now. The historic 30, 20, 20 game coupled with everything else that he's done this season. We've never seen a playmaking center.

Disefficient in the playmaking department, right? We've seen centers get 30 points, 20 rebounds, but we've never seen them get assist at this rate and what he's doing. Where did I have him in the power rankings? Number one, there's a reason why he's number one.

She is definitely right there at number two, Ken. And are they a lock for the finals? I can't say a lot, but they should definitely be a heavy favorite, but I can't say a lot, Ken. Mainly because of their youth.

I don't know if y'all saw this post over the weekend, but their average age is just a year and like 0.2 more than Auburn. Auburn starting. It's crazy, right? Like we're talking about an NBA squad and we're talking about the whole starting five.

Auburn squad is averaging 23 years of age and they're starting line up. Okay, see it's 24.2 and that's including the oldest player in Shay. I can't remember who the other oldest player, but they're both 26. Everybody else is 22 and 23 years old.

So from me, it's their experience that's going to hold them back. Right? I said that last year. As good as they were, I didn't think that they were going to be able to get through certain match-ups and they weren't able to.

And I think it's the same thing this year. I think it's one more mango season before we can pencil them in and be like, okay, perennially, this is the team that's going to get to the finals. As good as they are, Ken, I don't know if this is the year where we penciling them in like that. I think we can pencil them in as MVP.

And the only reason is voted for T for Joker. Joker, I'm with you though, as far as how the Joker's playing FIFA, but you know how they do it. They did the same thing to Lamar. Lamar had out of world experience season in football, but they gave it to Josh Allen.

It's going to be the same thing in the NBA. You're going to see it. And it's not like he is undeserving. It's just that gives him an edge is the fact that he's not had multiple ones before and they don't want to see him like it's a joke award.

So they're going to give it to him as far as being a lock for the championship for the finals. Absolutely not because you still got to go through Denver regardless. And I know Denver was beat last year, but I think that that team when it matters most, you will see Joker step up and you'll see. Jamal Murray hit some shots.

So it's still it's a young team and they got to get going down the stretch and say where say how they are now. Can I hope you can say something that's going to echo what I was about to say. I was going to ask if it matters more last year, Shelton. It didn't at all.

It didn't at all. It didn't at all. It didn't at all. I was going to say is that I think I always go with the my rule and I know the NBA broke this rule, but my rule was best player on the best team.

That's what goes with MVP. And that's why I think she is a lot for MVP. I think people there's too many two things can be true and there's two different arguments like is SGA the best player in the league? No, but is he the MVP?

Yes. You know I'm saying Joker to me is the best currently right now the best player in the league based off of stats based off of you taking off Denver. I don't think they're even a top five team in the West, maybe even bottom, maybe even a playing team. I don't know because the Jamal Murray should I think he has eroded from that championship run.

I don't really see you. I think he can still pop off here and there, but I don't trust him. He's a joke. I think he's only all star on the team.

Like since all that was obvious. So I don't really I think they still have a good squad. I think they still be a good playoff team, but Joker is really the sun, smooth and stars for that whole franchise. But it's just balling out right now.

I watched most of that game on Sunday and I first then for started off hot. Then it was coming out, but like obviously these days you can go 30 points in the quarter and then by the end of the fourth quarter, you lose by 20, which is seemed like that's basically what happened in that game. But it's interesting. I'll say that the Thunder isn't a lot going to the number one team in the whole damn NBA.

They got MVP yet. None of y'all the quote unquote basketball experts and I don't know about the chat, but it just seems like no one believes that that they're a really good content and team. Like in the West is why this is the best. That's the best.

That's the different things on Nick. Just because I say they're not a lot that mean I don't think they're favorite. Yeah. I mean, what's the difference between a favorite and a lot?

Lot means that that we know what they are. They're guaranteed. They still have to prove what they are because they didn't prove it last year. And everything that I said last year still applies to them this year until they get over that home.

Now I'm not saying that they can't because they've shown how talented they are. And like you said, they have a potential MVP candidate on the swag. Now here's the thing I want to say on the MVP candidacy. You said the sun moon and the stars, right?

You want to say best player on the best team. I look at it more so the player that you remove who what team falter is the most and you made my argument for me. You take Joker off of the Denver Nuggets. We don't even know if they're a playing team.

Okay. See, I believe is a playing team at minimum without shame at minimum. They're still talented. I understand that their second best player chat isn't there.

The Lou Dort, the other young in, they get something. Williams, yeah, Burbank brother. They play defense, right? At nothing else, we know that they are going to get defensive stops.

I think that when you get defensive stops, you get easy buckets. They'll be able to make a play in type of game without shame. We'll put some at number one is shake, but you take it off. That squad is crazy.

I think it's about the same. Similarly, I do think that OKC has more depth and they're youthful. So they will probably be like a nine to seven C. I think Denver would definitely be within, you know, 10 to seven range.

But I think it's really about the same because to me, SGA is the heart. So you show you Joe for a, the choice like go out there, the heart. So the head, the legs, the arms, everything for that team. Because I don't see anybody who can really consistently get their own shot as they're being double team or as they're being the focal point of a defensive assignment like SGA on the thunder.

And I know everybody always talks about check. I actually can't. I don't know how many people have said anything about chip for real. That but really just turned into it.

I don't even it's even the gerundjax enough. I don't know who they are. Everybody moved on to somebody. So to me, it's just like, if you take SGA off, it's almost similar like Joker, but the only thing is they're winning right now.

And I don't pay so I went over 62, 63, 65 games, which would be the best in the league. To me, the reason why I was asking like the favorite versus the lock is like we're split in hairs when we talking about that like I don't see how there's not. Again, I know I have my takes on the West because that's how I speak to the West. It's just irrelevant compared to the East when we talk to the team as far as Boston.

I don't see anybody consistently that I don't see a team right now based off what y'all telling me based off what I'm seeing that you would say like, okay, they're the, they can easily take out the thunder. But but but at the end of the day, you talked about Jamal Murray and him proving it in the playoffs. You don't have to question to Marmarie. Jamar Marie has the biggest disparity between regular season performance and playoff performance in the history of the NBA.

You wanna know who's second is Jimmy Butler. So certain guys, you just don't necessarily have to question into playoffs. But what have the thunder proven that they can make it to the Western Conference Finals? You know what I'm saying?

Have they proven that they can make it to the far? They haven't proven that yet. And because they're so young, that's the one knock against them until they can make it pass. Well, I think that the timeline that you always usually try to go off of as far as saying, like a team got to get beat up early and then they'll learn how to be a better team and move forward as they progress.

I think that's accelerated now. Because if you look at Minnesota last year, if you look at Dallas last year, like even though we could talk about Dallas, they had their lungs, but Minnesota, they just ended up, they took it because they wanted it. They wanted it more. And I keep it arguing, who wants it more than OKC?

Everybody's still down OKC, just like y'all are, I am still as far as I'm being actual, like winning the whole thing. But if I'm having to make a case as a lock, if I had to put money down, bread down, I would have to say is OKC. Because it's just like, because who in the West is really that deep? OKC is the same thing as Minnesota, right?

And here's the thing, I chose Minnesota. But Minnesota didn't prove anything. We've seen Lucas Dancis prove solo handily that I could get to the West of Conference Finals. He went there before he got Kyrie.

We know what Kyrie is, what he got to the finals every time he gets into the playoff runs. We know Kyrie is a proven commodity. And then they went there against the young Minnesota Timberwolves that everybody picked and what happened? They didn't prove it.

The same thing with OKC. Until they prove it, Nick, I don't believe it. Now again, talent wise, they arguably have the most talent in the league. But they're so young, they got to prove it.

And here's the other thing. Boston, how long did it take in Boston, in my opinion, more talented, more talented? More talented and it had more mango seasons than OKC. And it took them longer to knock down that door.

So again, OK, I love OKC and they are a favorite. But to pencil them in and also to say that the field can't get them, I can't say that definitively. You who's MVP in NBA right now? And would you agree that the Thunder are a lot for the finals?

Who's my MVP? Hold on, let me make sure I'm doing this right. All the audio kind of fucked up. Obviously this.

Let's talk about now. Let's just let's try that. Um, my MVP, you know, heart tells me that it should be SGA. My head tells me it should be Yokich.

I think that those are the only two right now. And they a lot that come out of the West. I'm not a huge OKC truther like that. I'm not OKC truther in that sense that I just don't battle youth to take the leap right now.

I think that they have to go through maybe one or two more years of like just getting there and they might get over that hump. But who's stopping them? Who's going to stop them? Who would you say like?

I believe in the pedigree of Yokich. I believe in the pedigree of Yokich. And I believe in Mike Malone as a coach. I believe that LeBron James and Luca Donchich are going to like they're there.

They're absolute terror. Like I've been telling people as soon as that trade happened that if this pans out and then we started to see a fan out, I said a couple of times ago that I got them in the finals. Like that's my finals. But I like, yeah, I'm like, you saw what happened on Saturday, right?

LeBron busted his nuts that trying to keep up with young boys. You think he could do that with his OKC? I mean, well, the good thing is that Boston is not in the Western conference. So I'm just talking about you.

OKC to run up and down the court though. I don't think that I play. I don't believe that OKC's youth can outdo Luca and LeBron on the perimeter and plus their IQ is just it's greater than anything that you can put against OKC. You know what I'm saying?

Like LeBron's IQ and the way that he can just walk things now, the way that OKC struggles with perimeter creation. Because Kyrie and Luca torture those boys last year. And I think that you put LeBron next to Luca Donchich and then the way that the defense is playing for the Lakers, the way that Denver is just their pedigree, the way that they can think the game and they can walk you down with Yokich. Those are my only two that I will say should put fear in OKC's heart.

The thing about OKC and the playoffs is you know, you talk about their speed and their athleticism and their usefulness. Yeah, those are all advantages OKC. But let's be honest, playoff basketball is all about match up and it's all about slowing down the game. And the thing that the most dangerous thing about this Lakers squad with LeBron and Luca and obviously LeBron got to get healthy is this.

And I've talked about it. They don't have front court premier size, right? Like in the center and power for positions. However, they have premier size on the perimeter.

And what is SGA's biggest advantage against the majority of the guards that he plays? He little boys that puts him in a pose, gets him in the mid range, dominates them physically, and does whatever he wants to do, pause. You know what I'm saying? But he can't do that against the Lakers.

I'm going to throw a brewery. How's your mirror on you? That dude 676-8. Uber athletic now, I'm not saying that you're not going to get chores.

You're MVP candidate. But that's going to be tough match ups. You know what I'm saying? Lou door all in guys.

All of the guys that typically have a physical advantage, they're not going to have one against the Lakers. But you should also know, based off the obvious coaching thing that I would do, that I'm sure that we don't even know who the head coach OKC is, can't know the day. But I would just say, to your point, FIFA, they put a brewery on me. The first thing I'm going to do, switch to Luka, who can't even guard his own house.

He can't even guard his own. He can't even guard the fridge. You know what I'm saying? What are you trying to guard the fridge?

You know what I'm saying? Go to a zone. Like I'm saying, I'm just saying, we always talk about these one things, as far as, oh, if you do this, then it's going to make it a little bit hard. First of all, ain't nobody's scared of a brewery.

I'm scared of a hud. I'm more scared of a hud. The hibachi rest of that brewery. So let's move off of that.

Even then, if you have a good defender, we don't switch. That's it. And then we'll get you on the hook like that. Again, we just saw this on Saturday.

But I think it's about, I think that comparing Boston, who just won a championship to OKC, is not a one-to-one analogy. Because you have really, of course, OKC, they have really long defenders just like Boston does. But Boston's connectivity and their pedigree of just winning a championship. They've done it before.

They've been there twice. They've won one. OKC doesn't know what it feels like to get walked down by Luka in LeBron in the fourth quarter, three games in a row. Like, I would bet that series would probably go OKC's up like 10 to 12 points at any given point in the game.

In the last five, six minutes, right at three, five in the corner, Luka's that victory. And they're winning by three, four points barely escaping. And we're going to be looking up. But it's four, two Lakers.

And I just think that that's true for them. And that's true for Yoka's just being able to pick up a part of the game. Real quick, real quick people. Q, do you believe that LeBron can last a seven-game series right up and down the court with OKC?

Yeah, man, you got that fucking Germany package. I mean, it's all good. Yeah, it's all good. It's all good, man.

It's all good, man. You also talked about the very version. You talked about Timeline. Boston's Timeline, they've been able to add players through free agency, draft, and other aspects, right?

Like they've been able to take advantage of every aspect of making that team better. OKC hasn't yet. I talked about it last week where all of these draft picks that they have, they're not going to be able to draft and use them all. So in OKC's Timeline, it's about time to make a trade come off of some of these assets to go get a more established veteran to help this young squad get over the hump.

Because again, youth doesn't win championships. And when you go this route, you need to add Wiley veterans that have been there done that keep those young guys cool, calm and collected in those clutch moments to get over that hump. You look at every single situation where the base of the talent was drafted, they didn't start winning until they started making external moves. Look at Gold Desec.

They didn't win until they started making the equal dollar moves, like all of those exterior pieces that come in and add that extra sauce to the squad. OKC isn't even there yet in their timeline. What's that? Spider-Man, that's it to say.

That was the second hit. That was the second hit. I was wondering why we talked about this all on the other side. Thanks again, Bob.

Thank you. To answer the question, I do think the SGA is a strong candidate for MVP. I think he's been doing this thing this year. He got his team where they need to be.

And I do think that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs. I don't think that that old standard that we have of, oh, you've got to go into the playoffs and take a couple losses and bumps and bruises before you're able to get to where you need to be. I think that this team is ready now. This team is ready now.

When check come back, I think SGA is that good? They can beat Denver. They can beat the Lakers. They can do those things.

Is that good? And he is a legitimate MVP candidate. I think they should be those things. I don't disagree with you.

I think this will be, and he will get the MVP this year, is because they should have given it to him last year. So they're trying to make up for it again this year. So same thing they did to MVP. I do check does be in and out.

Like, you know, he may be playing out, but he'd be missing random games for nothing. And I think nothing, I mean, I know it's legit injuries, but you guys know what I mean. But my thing is this. When I go here, because I think they should be a lot to go to the finals.

Thank you. I understand what you guys are saying, but they win 80% of their games. That guy might, whatever his name is, the nalt is crazy. He's even still around Nick with as bad as they were.

We should have known his name because when he started, they were 22 and 5, 22 and 50 the year after 22 and 58, and then they started to turn things around with 40 and 42, 50, 70 and 25 and not a 53 and 12 this year. You know, and if you look at the numbers, they've gotten better each year that he's been there. I would like to believe that they learned from losing in the Western Conference semi's last year, and they will take that and come back and finish the job this year. They're leaps and bounds.

It looks like better than everybody else in the West. It's not even close. But Ken, their vet is is heart and spine. Their vet is Shay Gil just Alexander at 26 years old.

That age group doesn't get you championships. Why can't history history can't be different? Because you're talking about an anomaly and that typically doesn't happen. We've seen it with Boston.

We've seen it with Golden State. We've seen it time and time again where at this phase, they're not getting over the hump. I'm just taking history. Can't regardless of how good they are in the regular season.

Okay, the first version, the big three version with James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant three MVP guys, it took them forever. And once they got there, they lost the big three. 27, 27, we won this first one. We have to be and that's and normally it's 27, 28.

That's when you're in the full. It's where it is. Yeah, he is right now. I believe that.

Well, hold on, but you wanted to talk about the Chicago Bulls. That Jordan was 27, but how many veterans did he have on that roster? It's like a best player was obviously Scottie Pippin. But how many veterans?

Everybody else. You're a veteran. No, no, no, no, veterans. We didn't do it like Jackson Lulu, the other guys.

It's just like the OCC situation, that's the sense of SGA was the leader of the team. He's 27 years old and I got these strong powers around me and we set up to win it's championship. If no other year other than this year, this is the year that should take the win. That's what I'm saying.

That's the majority of the Bulls in 91. You boss and he has a pressure on the entertainment. Take him and Brown had outside pressure. Shane gives us an example of 26 years old.

He turns 27 in July. So after the finals, hopefully, you know what I mean? So the problem that we have here is when you're 27, 28 in basketball years, those are the years where you come into your full power as just a man. You come into your full control as an athlete.

You understand you have enough experience to be a veteran, but you have enough youth to still have years ahead of you and enough athleticism left in the tank. So that's why guys like Jordan, you know what I'm saying? Curry, they don't get it when they're 25, 26. That's an outlier because there's just something about thinking the game differently.

Having seen multiple situations, but I was totally different and clearly it's different. Even more so now when these guys don't take the regular season that seriously, which I think can not negate your point, but I think it kind of complicates your point because okay, so he's playing for, you know, home court. They're in the chase. They're in the pursuit of okay, we're young, let's be great.

We can run all day and all night. But when you look at the yolkiches of the world and you look at the LeBron James and Luke Adoncias of the world, if you're okay, see, you can't just be like, well, we want 80 some, you know, we're winning all these games like fuck out of here. That's not how that works because Boston had Chris, that's for Zingas, Drew Holiday, who drew on a championship for Zingas 10 years in league at this point. If I'm not mistaken, you have Al Horford, but you know me and you can go down the line of veteran guys along with JB who I think just turned 27 and take them as the 26.

So you have a good mix of that. When you go to okay, see, their oldest guys are Alex Caruso, Hartenstein, and that's not enough in my opinion to buck history and to buck the train. Exactly. So look, look, Spike, both of the rosters, the oldest player or the longest standard player on the OKC roster is six years, they have three guys, Shae Gill, Kenrick Williams, Alex Caruso and Hartenstein, seven years in the league.

Everybody else, the next oldest player by how many years they've been in the league is Lou Dort with five. Everybody else is one, two or three, bro. And then when you look at the Bulls roster, the 1991 Bulls roster, what's crazy is just the amount of people that's on the roster was way smaller back then, which is crazy to see looking at both of these rosters back to back. But Bill Cartwright had four years over Jordan, Craig Hodges had two years over Jordan, Cliff Lemmings, they had two years over Jordan, Paxton had a year over Jordan.

So we're talking about guys that all got major minutes. Bill Cartwright was the starting center, right? John Paxton hit big shots and their first three P all throughout the playoffs. Big shot after big shot after big shot starting point guard for that team.

Who else did I say? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I mean, my main thing is this, my main thing is this, bro.

It's like excuses to me, Nick. Exactly. It's not excuses because all last year and going into this year, I've been hearing nothing about OKC this, OKC that. Why are we talking about OKC more?

Why are we respected SGA? And then when I come up with him and make the case like they should be a lot. They got the best record of going teams out. They go on teams out like Denver.

I think the Lakers are super overrated as much as people want to give them credit for. They should have lost to the Knicks if they didn't try to kill Brum-Brum like they did. They didn't know they should have no digit lead, Nick. That was the Knicks fault.

Listen, listen, listen, listen. I'm just saying. It's still the deal. Brum-Brum got hurt.

That's all I'm trying to say. It was down four in Boston. Boston. Boston was playing with a fool when he was up by Denver.

Now they're playing with it. We don't have Boston always though. No, it's if, man, get the fuck out of here, bro. They still want, I'm just saying, they still want, we don't see how the rest of the Lakers, I mean, the Lakers just lost to the Knicks.

You know what I'm saying? You can't, they were missing four starters in. You can't. They got a few people just told me a few weeks ago they got a top five.

It's different about LeBron, bro. We can only put so much stock in regular season. I'm saying, I made my main point is, like Lou said, if not now then when this is the West is the West is more than wide open, but it's barn door open. It's not though.

It's not really wide open. It's not. What makes you think? Because you make that dream.

Because you, I mean, I would have to see how their offseason goes for me to really fully agree with people, but I'm not actually against that approach of getting an older guy to come in. But to me, the answer here, first by question, is because I look at, I like what the Warriors have got going on. I like what I see with them getting Jimmy, they allow us for a steps gravity to actually mean something when a guy can go get 25 plus on his own. I think that the Lakers are really dangerous.

And I think that just a radical evolving as the season goes on and their defense is only going to get better. Of course, we need to see how LeBron comes back from that injury, but I feel like they'll be fine. They might end up getting the fifth or six seed if they drop a little bit, but they're dangerous fifth or six seed. And then Denver, bro, I just saw like, you know, we keep harping on regular season, but it's funny how we don't talk about Denver just smacked him.

You know what I mean? Yesterday. I just saw you all the way to one 25. So Joe Kitch's ability to make everyone better.

And I think Aaron Gordon is out again. I think he's got hurt a little bit or Nick up, but just Mike Malone, the way that they can pick you apart with just D.H.O. the way that they can pick you apart with just interior, you know, passing with Russ and and Yokish. I think I think it's not a lot.

It can't be a lot. If you're not. I think it's a real quick. I understand this a lot, but I do have a question before we move on with what you just said.

You're telling me. I want to understand this, right? You don't think SDA is that good thing, right? Like, because you name older players, you name like legacy players, I get that those people do have a chance, but I do think that it's SGA's time right now to take advantage of it similar to what we spoke about with Jordan, 1991.

I think he has the opportunity to do that, but you're saying that all of these older, more established players and different teams have a better chance than he does. I don't see how that's possible. Because I don't necessarily think that the teammates around SGA are comparable to the teammates in the pedigree that other teammates on those teams have. Like, if I'm on the Anthony Gordon, the Jamal Murray's guys, I can go get you, you know what I'm saying, a bunch of dunks and then a guy can get you 50 and Murray.

And then Yolkich on top of my Malone's coaching, like I'm talking about, Lukadansha and LeBron James are liable to go nuclear or to put up a triple double together. Or, you know, I mean, I'm asking triple double one either of the same. And then you're looking at Curry who can just assault you with threes. And Jimmy Butler, if he gets pissed off enough, you know what I'm saying?

I'm not betting against playoff Jimmy being a thing ever. They already know how I feel about Jimmy. So I'm not saying that OKC can't do it. I just don't think that SGA, the way I value him, it's not like, and I'm opposed to question.

Oh, y'all, y'all see SGA in that same tier as when you saw Russ hardening KD going to the finals or when you saw D Wade get to the 06 finals. Or I think he's a fantastic player. But those guys, I saw, oh, these are some of the greatest players I've ever seen. And of course, as he is putting up one of the best guard seasons, but do you view him as like, man, this guy's panty on potentially.

I don't know. This is insane. This is really insane because I don't know what the fuck y'all saying right now, because I got two things. One, you are talking about the the yesterday is of the Golden State Wars.

I love Jimmy too, but they wouldn't be good without Jimmy, which means they probably not good with, they're not going to be great with Jig. It's what I'm talking about. And two, you're talking about a 40-year-old man who can't keep his nuts together and a fat white boy that you think is going to drag the Lakers to the prom or has a potential to drag the Lakers to the promise land is insane with no defense and with a tallest nigga. We're not your regular season.

Okay, that's in the regular season like you mentioned. We're not about that. Oh, and then the only thing that I would listen to is them because they do have the best player in the fucking league. But outside of that, when we're talking about top down and then the season that they're having, it's like, how can we not say that?

Otherwise, and what's the point of us even discussing these niggas, is if all y'all are giving me credit points of why they don't, they're not probably not going to make it. And using youth, youth and durability as against them. Yeah, you guys have to make it quick because we need to move on. But I do want to come back to your question if we have time in the rest of the program.

Because it's a very interesting question you just asked. And it's a slight to SGA. I don't think it's a real question. That compliment was on your backhand.

I wasn't complimenting him in that sense. I think he's a great player. I don't view him as like, panty. Special.

No, I think he's special. I don't think he's panty on. There's a difference. OK, all right.

The difference between a girl being bad in the way. That's what I'm basically reading. I was just about to say Q, I was like, I hope you don't talk to your girl like the audience. There's a difference between a girl you talk halleth and three talk Mary.

It's simple, bro. You know who's the one. You ain't hit me all, baby. Girl.

Right. Come on, bud. Y'all know what that shit was like when you saw LeBron O7? It looked different.

Like, yo, this is one of Grace Jones. That's what's that's about Rushmore. Because I mean, you got to know what he's saying. He's way, you don't mean it like you saw it.

You ain't got to be my Rushmore who went a title, look at Kawhi Leonard. But here's a bit, but the, well, Kawab was on a Mount Rushmore trajectory in terms of his talent. His body just failed him. But what I'm saying is when you look at the guys, because somebody brought up a good point in the chat, that, yo, normally all time great players have an early run where they get to the finals before 28, because they have to learn how to lose.

Like, you know what I'm saying? I believe that. The difference for me is when I look at SGA in his game, yes, statistically he's having one of the greatest seasons of a guard we've ever seen, but there's just a certain thing with the eye test for me and I could be ignorant to anybody who watches a lot more OKC than me. But when I see him, I see a really special player, but I don't see a player that is so special, like bro, seeing KD go to the finals against the Heat.

See LeBron go to finals against the players. You know what I'm saying? You're not cute to move on, but yeah, you just said man, damn. Just a drink.

No, I, I, he said he's too quiet. For it. I suppose. No, it's real quick.

I want to know. Is he prime D way to you? You don't think he's that cute? He's close.

I mean, it was a phrase to be, but nevertheless, hey, we're going to jump to a real quick commercial break and we'll be back up with. Absolutely. That's dead in gaming. ATL. I'm going to watch segment. Now this is not a player this week.

This is a personality to me. Stephen a Smith is on watch. Come on. Stephen a Smith bro is on watch because Stephen a Smith told me and has been campaigning and doing all these things about Bronnie.

Soon as LeBron has something to say about it, he copies on ESPN. He copies on his show on the radio. He copies on other platforms swearing that, oh, this isn't what I meant. All LeBron is coming to me as a father like bro, staying on business.

Like what you came to say about Bronnie, stand on it. And when LeBron is six, eight standing over you, quit side, stand on it then. We don't care to hear what you got to say on first take when you say, oh, I didn't mean this. And I didn't mean that LeBron has a right to do this.

Like he's walking this fine line in the sense of, yeah, I said it, but I do respect what LeBron is coming from. You got to pick a side bro. You can't be shown in this. You can't ride the fence.

You can't ride the fence. Act like people are going to respect that. I don't respect him backing down off of what he said about Bronnie. If you feel like that, then say it and say it to LeBron face.

When I come to you midway through the fourth quarter and I piss on your nicks and I beat y'all. After y'all were you had me down and I come and I use the fuel that I use from talking to you on the sideline. I don't respect what Stephen a Smith is doing right now. And I do think that he's on watch in the sense of his taste.

Like, bro, you got to stand on what you're saying. I'm going to stand on everything that I say on this platform. I expect him to do the same thing to you. So you say Stephen a Smith is about to lose credibility?

Yes. Because he's talking about the confrontation with LeBron too much. Like, bro, if you're not going to talk about it, you didn't want to talk about it. That's fine.

Then don't do it. But don't tell me you don't want to talk about it. Don't tell me. Oh, I was forced to do this because it went viral.

Don't tell me all of these different things. This is what you want. This is what your brand is based off of. It's fine.

I ain't judging you for it. But don't lie to us and act like we're dumb consumers in the sense of, oh, well, I didn't want to do this, but I got to do it because LeBron approached me now, bro. You wanted to do this. This is what you put out this year for.

And this is what LeBron approached you about. Quit talking crazy about myself before I smacked the shit out of you. He said the thing that was raining. That was some suck of shit that LeBron did.

Call him up. See, that's what I'm saying. That's not what he said on first take. He said on first take.

I respect him as a father coming to me as that. Now you won't be able to read his podcast and you talking differently. You can't have it both ways, bro. You can't be shown.

That's funny. All right. I'm going to use my face. Moving on, man.

I wish B was here because we are about to talk about the Detroit Pistons. The Detroit Pistons are 36 and 29 and currently sits in the Eastern Conference, just one game behind fourth place, which is a huge turnaround for franchise. They only won 31 games over the previous two seasons who deserves credit for this turnaround and it's Kate Cunningham, a top five point guard in the league right now. J.D.

Bigger stuff and the front office deserves the most credit just for the continuity and adults finally being in the room, getting Monty Williams the fuck up out of here, dude. That was honestly just egregious. It's an egregious sign in Monty Williams in the huddle giving, you know what I'm saying? Like sermons and shit and we don't want to count.

He didn't want to coach it all. He took the money and we're over here down 30. I mean, I agree, but also, I mean, if you're grieving like that, then it's like we're like take some time for yourself, bro. Like don't bring the sermons to our huddle when we're down 30 to the fucking Lakers, bro.

Like it's not the time. But Kate Cunningham, I'm not really sure where I have him at. I think that he's an amazing talent also. You could say he's top five and I'm going to argue it.

I probably got to see one more season before I rank that guy like that just because of how bad the team's been. But he's an amazing and great handle. Really, really good around the basket. I think a shot can also even get better, which is kind of scary for where he's at in his development.

And I think he has kind of some fucking type of attitude to him as well when he gets pretty pissed off, which I think is good for a point guard. So this deserves a lot of credit. The East is horrendous though. So let's act like 36 and 29.

That is like the fact that's like in contention and not even in the play in the East is so bad. And the six of us have just broke my heart last two, two years. But yeah, no, great, great season and shout out to the front office from finally getting it right and putting adults in the room like Tobias Harris. That was a pretty smart signing.

Good deal too. So new front off, new front office. The new front office I got to give a shout out. I'm gonna echo your point.

JB because he's obviously the coach of the year in my opinion or at least to be the top two candidate. My name is Trey Wan or Langdon the president. He's the reason why this turnaround has happened. I'll give him a lot of credit for that.

It's a trifecta of him JB and Kate. I do think that Kate is the top five. We're talking right now. His numbers are insane.

I like what they're doing in Detroit. I mean shit, 20 years now. Out on their first round picks. Something had to shake.

So yeah, shout out to the Pistons. Shout out to me. He got some to the roof for outside of the line. So you're joined up right now.

Yeah, I was two years too early on the trade because I've always felt that the trade had the talent they just weren't able to put it together. But again, you got to give credit to my theory. Three to five, what year is this for Kate Cunningham? Year five.

I see him ascend. Same thing with Jalen Green. We saw Jalen Green really start to ascend last year. But at the end of the day, three to five, do I put him in as a top five point guard?

100% are the Detroit Pistons scary. I'm going to say no, but I think the biggest thing for them is playoff experience. They got to get to the dance. They got to experience what that playoff atmosphere is like.

And they will grow exponentially from it because, you know, we're talking about OK CB and Young. Detroit is relatively young as well. I think for the majority of their players a little bit further along, they've been in a league longer. But that all that being said, Jimmy Bigger staff is the main reason why we've seen this turnaround.

And he is Michael Chittier candidate leading the pack, in my opinion. He should definitely win it for the amazing turnaround that they've had this season. And Q, I feel you 37 to 29 doesn't sound crazy. But when you're coming from where Detroit came from, they might as well be 82 and 0.

That's what this feels like. That's what this feels like. You know what I'm saying? So it's relative to the situation.

And here's the thing now, maybe not this year, but next year they definitely have expectation. Regardless of whatever they do in the playoffs. I thought you were going to say, James, what's close to the year? No, no, no.

I said JJ deserves to be in the conversation in the top three. But Bigger staff is the guy. Bigger staff is number one. I mean, can you not?

I mean, I personally think it's the Cleveland coach, but I think that JJ or Bigger staff are like deserving. I think we should, you know, then they're considered all three of them because Cleveland's on a crazy run right now. And they look, they actually do look scary, you know? Yep.

They're truly a contender. Yeah. Luke's on the backstage, Jason Keish, but um, whoa. Yeah.
