Will the Campaign Against Brett Kavanaugh Ever End?

from Dr. Carole's Couch · host Dr. Carole Lieberman

Though Judge Brett Kavanaugh was finally appointed to the Supreme Court, much to the chagrin and hysteria of some in Congress, the campaign against him has yet to end. Today's guest, Ryan Lovelace, the author of Search and Destroy: Inside the Campaign Against Brett Kavanaugh, takes us behind the scenes to unravel the truth. Since the allegations of Christine Blasey Ford, in her testimony before Congress, failed to convince enough people that Kavanaugh was an attempted rapist, the same political forces behind her trotted out another alleged victim, Deborah Ramirez. The Kavanaugh-haters are afraid that his being on the Supreme Court endangers Roe v. Wade, but they would believe this of anyone President Trump nominated, despite no such proof. Dr. Carole, a forensic psychiatrist who's testified in countless cases of alleged sexual assault, finds it outrageous that some think these women should be believed just because they're women, and cases tried in the media instead of a courtroom.
