Will the Gospel Go Further Than Us?

May 14, 2023In the face of great pressure and intimidation, Peter and John boldly spoke the powerful message of Christ’s death and resurrection. Regardless of the possible consequences, they couldn’t help but speak about Jesus. It is easy to place these Apostles in a separate category from us as if they were superhuman. But this “uneducated” and “common” group of people was filled with the Holy Spirit who emboldened them with gospel purpose and power. The Spirit is the One who continues to fill all who believe in Christ as Lord and Savior. But this raises a couple of questions: Are we so compelled? Will the gospel go further than us?Acts 4:1-22
