Will the run game be the key for Arizona State Sun Devils football on offense? LOSD Stat predictions

Kenny Dillingham faces a big season ahead of him and Arizona State Sun Devils football in 2024. Dilly will be tasked with taking the Sun Devils from the PAC-12 Conference to the Big 12 Conference following a conference realignment, where the competition is stiffer and the schedule is no joke. The defense should be a good unit again in 2024, but Dillingham will need to take the offense a few steps forward from last year's performance, and the run game could be the key to doing so. The Sun Devils have no shortage of talent in the backfield with potential superstars Cameron Skattebo and Raleek Brown waiting to break out, but their depth is equally as impressive. Veteran DeCarlos Brooks returns after playing four games last season, and he was very good in those four games. Sophomore Kyson Brown is also back after showing flashes as a freshman. The Sun Devils made two big offseason splashes with former AAC Rookie of the Year Alton McCaskill and four-star freshman Jason Brown to make a deep room even deeper. With six guys in the backfield who could all justify serious playing time, Arizona State Sun Devils football must look at the room and realize that the run game could likely be the key to the 2024 season.
