Will We Meet Again?
from Total Fitness United · host Alison Wylie
A lot of sadness in life comes from the belief that we may not see certain people again, maybe even a little joy for the same reason. Our true world is bigger than we could ever imagine, it goes much deeper than the physical Earth, our external worlds are like the tip of the iceberg. We are generally focused more on the external as we get on with our physical lives, our internal universe whispers to us in many ways which often we are not aware of. However, our inner being stretches far and wide, the connections are complex like an enormous spider's web, can it be possible that we never see again the people we meet in life on Earth? I am convinced that no stone goes unturned, each person we come into contact with in life affects us in some way however big or small, whether in a positive or negative way, and yes we will indeed meet people again if there is some issue that needs to be addressed. That issue may just be a simple 'thank you' or it may be more complicated but meet again we certainly will. I can think of many people in my life who seemed to appear like angels in disguise when I needed help, simple things, putting me on the right train in the Czech Republic for example, no mean feat considering I knew no Czech. A French lady who drove me back to my grape-picking farm when I had got lost in the French countryside outside Lyons. The list is endless, yes I would like to say thank you to those people, they might not have realised how much they helped me at the time, nor did I, but looking back things could have gone very differently if they hadn't have been there. Waldo Vieira in his book 'Projections of Consciousness' describes how he met a young boy in one of his out-of-body experiences, earlier in his physical life Waldo had given the boy free dental treatment as his mother had had no money. A simple act of kindness which he had almost forgotten about, yet the act had not disappeared into nothing. Actions, thoughts and feelings are creations that remain, our relationships with people don't disappear when we die. We will meet again somewhere along the line, there are truly no real goodbyes not for friends, loved ones or even for people you may have met and forgotten, acts of kindness are remembered as are acts of 'non-kindness'. So next time you are sad because you miss someone who has passed on, or someone from your past who you would like to meet again, think about how great the hello will be when you do meet again. Train stations, airports, bus stations can be sad places, waving goodbye to people when your heart is cracking open, but they can also be wonderfully ecstatic, bringing joyful hellos, trust me after a goodbye there is always, always a hello.
