Will you receive or reject? Part 2

We are continuing our discussion about the Prodigal son but we want to focus on the older brother. The older brother was faithful and dependable. He followed his father's commands. He didn't complain, he worked for years but yet when his little brother came back, bitterness came with it. The older brother was focused on being the obedient child, he missed the importance of who he was. He was always with his father and had access to the entire kingdom but yet he didn't see it. Are you the dependable one? The faithful church member? The servant child? Everyone can depend on you but yet you don't feel seen or appreciated?
