Will You Wait?

from Bless Me this Morning · host Deacon Tarlie Francis

What may be a reasonable time to wait for your miracle? The water would start to bubble at odd times, seemingly at random. Anyone who jumped into the water as soon as the disturbance occurred was cured of their ailment or condition. Some sick and crippled people would wait for the waters to be agitated, hoping to jump in on time and to benefit from the healing. "Sir," the sick said, "when the water is agitated, I have no one to help me into the pool." Other people always slide down ahead of me as I'm attempting to get in." (John 5:7) This man waited with faith and hope that one day there will be less people and he would be able to get to the agitated water in time. What is a reasonable waiting time?
