Willard Council approves irrigation water bids

The Willard City Council approved leases for the city’s irri­gation water shares for 2026 during Thursday’s meeting. Mayor Travis Mote and Councilmember Rex Christensen declared conflicts of interest since they had bid on water shares. Both stated their intent to fully participate in discus­sion while ensuring the approval process remained transpar­ent and fair.
