Willard 'low-risk' score in fraud assessment

Willard City received a low-risk rating in its annual fraud risk assessment, a state-required review of internal financial controls presented to the city council on June 25. Ryan Child of Child Richards CPAs & Advisors said the annual assessment evaluates the city’s policies, procedures and safeguards designed to prevent and detect fraud.
