President Trump has insisted construction will be privately funded, at no expense to the taxpayer. Despite left-wing outrage, Teddy Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama all oversaw major construction projects while serving as president. Did the press complain about the construction project? Also, last month, Politico reported that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker was trying to lose weight ahead of the 2028 presidential election. Does anyone notice a difference in his size?
