William Hung

This week, we are joined by the man who redefined resilience and authenticity on the national stage- William Hung. From his viral American Idol audition to topping the billboard charts, William is here to prove he is anything but one-note! We go beyond the audition room to explore what it was like to release three albums (including “Hung for the Holidays”), tour the world from Iceland to Singapore, and eventually fulfill a bucket-list dream by performing in Vegas with Ricky Martin himself! William shares how he transitioned from a shy civil engineering student to a data whiz with an MBA and a Master’s, now serving as a Data Analytics Manager for LA County. He gets real about surviving death rumors, paparazzi following him in Hong Kong, and his honest journey through (and recovery from) gambling addiction. We discuss behind-the-scenes moments from the sets of Arrested Development (where he played "Hung Jury"), The Goat, and his favorite talk shows. Get ready for an inspiring conversation about the power of taking risks. Whether you know William as the guy who stood up to Simon Cowell or the researcher fighting for environmental justice, this episode is about living with no regrets!
