This week I had the pleasure to sit down with William Patrick, a retired correctional officer from Virginia and podcast host of the "Other Side of the Bars" Podcast. We discussed the highs and the lows and how he managed to survive a 20 year career. Im not sure we give our brothers and sisters in the field of corrections the respect they deserve. A thankless job but one that comes with a unique set of challenges. I'll state the obvious, there isn't much you can do to someone thats committed and  already in jail.
