Willow Strong and the Whispering Plants

Seven-year-old Willow's hands are always covered in dirt, and she doesn't mind one bit! In Grandmother's magical nursery, the plants talk! The little tomato plant whispers "thank you" in a voice like wind chimes made of grass. The vines laugh. Every growing thing tells stories. But one day—CRACK—a scary sound breaks the peaceful afternoon. "Something is wrong in the forest," the tomato plant whispers. "The great trees are calling for help. Something is making plants sleep and never wake up."Grandmother leads Willow to a secret wooden door hidden behind trailing vines and down a staircase into safe darkness.
