The ban on outdoor burning in Wilson county is set to expire Sunday, April 26, 2026. According to the Wilson County Office of Emergency Management and the Wilson County Fire Marshal, county residents outside city limits can begin burning of brush and agricultural debris Sunday. Fires should be started by noon and out by sundown. All fires must be monitored and a source of water must be available nearby. Residents should abide by all guidelines for outdoor burning.
