Wilson County Emergency Management plans volunteer meeting

A meeting for Wilson County Emergency Management volunteers will take place on Tuesday, July 21, at 6 p.m. in the county’s Emergency Operations Center, 802 10th St. (U.S. 181) in Floresville. Anyone interested in helping the local community as an emergency volunteer in the county is encouraged to attend the meeting. Learn about community sheltering plans and upcoming emergency training and related events, and take a look at the new building. No experience is required to volunteer.
