Wilson Flores' Path: Newspaper Columnist
from Project Offbeat Hosted by Lance Cham and Matt Yu
Wilson Flores is the writer behind popular Philstar column "Will Soon Flourish." Through his works, he has amassed a record-breaking 15 Catholic Mass Media awards and three Don Palanca literary awards; making him an undisputable opinion leader in the world of geopolitics, economics and writing. He is also the owner of 83-year old QC treasure Kamuning Bakery, where he holds the occasional Pandesal Forum with important political figures. He joins the show to talk about the offbeaten career of being a columnist, the importance of writing for every professional, and why writing isn't compensated or valued as much in the Philippines.
