The National Weather Service-Austin/San Antnio has issued a flash flood watch for portions of South Central Texas, including Wilson, Guadalupe, Bexar, and nearby counties, through Friday, May 1, at 9 p.m., as a weather system brings storms to the area. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts of 6 inches are possible for the duration of the Flood Watch. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible for Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, Edwards, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, Lee, Llano, Medina, Real, Travis, Uvalde, Val Verde, Williamson, and Wilson counties.
