Geoff studied finance and accounting at the University of Denver, in which he had a very unique experience, being in the midst of his father going through a lung transplant. This encounter led Geoff to focus on school, but also have much time put towards family an external ventures.  Following his time with creating numerous business around hospitality and real estate, Geoff and his co-founder, Xander Oxman, became aware of a problem in the wine industry... the long lasting tradition of sharing a glass of wine, isn't exactly consumer friendly around accessibility and experience. They went on to create Winc in 2012 by joining forces with a winemaker, to build a personalized wine club.
