Winchester Brings Elite Eight Experience to Troy

Troy men’s basketball just got a coaching powerhouse: Anthony Winchester, who helped Kansas State reach the Elite Eight in 2023 and turned around a struggling program into a postseason contender. With deep ties to head coach Adam Howard—former college teammates—Winchester brings elite credentials, including developing All-Americans and beating top-10 teams. His journey from video ops at Kansas State to assistant coach, plus his overseas pro career and Sun Belt Player of the Year honors, proves he’s ready to elevate Troy both on and off the court.
