https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jin-out/aubsqgit "尋橋" - "Cham Kiu" ("Seeking the Bridge") The Cham Kiu (尋橋) Form is the second open hand form of Wing Chun that puts the lessons learned in Siu Lim Tau (小念頭 - "The Little Idea") into motion and builds upon them. The importance of coordinating footwork and handwork together is paramount. While Siu Lim Tau’s hand motions reference the self, Chum Kiu’s hand and leg motions reference an opponent in relation to the self. From this, we are introduced to several new concepts that either are not seen or not heavily stressed in Siu Lim Tau. If Siu Lim Tau is about perfect structural alignment from a stationary standpoint, then Cham Kiu is application of this perfect structural alignment in the context of motion. In Cham Kiu we are introduced to the shifting stance as well as non-linear movements in all the Wing Chun hands. Also the ugliest kick in all of martial arts is introduced: the Wing Chun Kick.
