The first part of the presentation discusses bacterial causes, in particular E. coli, of diarrhea and mortality in kittens. The latter half of her talk covers information about the parasite, Tritrichomonas foetus, that causes large bowel diarrhea in kittens and cats. Dr. Gookin covers information about her research on these significant causes of diarrhea in cats.
