Among the criminal defense lawyers who struck Jon Katz early on with their ability and devotion to their clients -- and remaining unrattled in court -- is Lenny Stamm. While a law clerk at a general practice law firm, Lenny met his mentor Alan Goldstein,  who was known widely in Maryland for his excellence in criminal defense combined with humor and likeability. They became law partners. Alan passed away in 1991, and Lenny continued practicing as the law firm of Goldstein & Stamm. Lenny is very generous of his time with colleagues, and numerous times has taken Jon's calls and emails for finding the path to victory in court. Lenny is a dean of Maryland DUI and criminal defense lawyers, and is very active with the National College of DUI Defense, that Jon belongs to.
