Winter Break is Coming. Here is the Plan.
from The Palm Bayer Hosted by Thomas Gaume
We all know the drill. The school calendar says “Holiday,” but the work calendar says “Monday.” For working parents in Palm Bay, the gap between the last day of school and the first day of the new year can be a logistical scramble. But for the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors—the “village” that helps raise our community’s kids—this is your chance to step in with a solution before the stress even starts. The Solution: Winter Break Camp 2025 The City of Palm Bay has opened registration for its annual Winter Break Camp at the Ted Whitlock Community Center. Here is the breakdown: * Dates: Two sessions (Dec 22–26 and Dec 29–Jan 2). * Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (built for working schedules). * Cost: $90/week (Financial aid is available). * Location: Ted Whitlock Community Center. Why This Matters Spots are limited. In previous years, these camps have filled up quickly. If you are a parent, secure your spot now. If you are a grandparent or neighbor, forward this post to the families you know. It might just be the most helpful gift you give them this season.
