https://hearthis.at/sevenism/winter-chimes/ Submission for ambient online one sample dare 34 track made only using this sample: http://soundcloud.com/ao_onesampledare/one-sample-dare-34-sample-file I've been listening to a lot of autechre recently so this is even more chaotic than my usual submissions! and i managed not to use paulstretch! my aim was to use so much clatter that it no longer sounded rhythmic all tracks recorded in audacity (track) 1: sample run through cecilia5 multi band harmonizer with polyphony and reverb 2: track 1 run through again with more of the same fx and delay 3: 1+2 pulled into live8 with granalizer, wide chorus, six string ambience, wide ambience reverb (pitch shifted in real time) 4: 1+2 same fx but with smear granulator 5: same fx as 3 but with no granulation and wide ambience first in the chain 6: 1-5 exported pulled into cecilia vocoder as exciter with original sample as source 7: first 30 seconds saved as wav, pulled into tapestrea, separated and managed to save the stochastic events before it crashed, pulled into audacity changed tempo to 240 seconds, that was mono so used the haas effect to make it sound stereo (cloned track 7, hard panned one track L other R then nudged R channel 0.05 seconds forwards)
