Winter Constellations
from Sarah Goodin Music · host Sarah Goodin
I used to walk home from the train station in the winter I lived in Arlington -- a small town at the end of the Redline, just outside Boston. Every walk home from the T was so cold, so cold; it hurt my lungs to breathe, to expose any tiny part of my face, but the nights were immaculate. Clear. Bright. There was never any other time of the year I could see the sky so razor sharp and shiny. That sky, the memory of it, inspired this piece. Thank you for listening -- Sarah Goodin *recorded and mixed by Paul Turpin, Champion St Sound Studios
