Under his Winterdagen moniker, composer & producer Mink Steekelenburg creates piano- and electronic music. Next to his releases as Winterdagen, Steekelenburg has been making his name composing music for film, theatre & dance and museums. The Winterdagen Operator show has always been a playground for the Rotterdam-based musician to explore newly found music. Over the years, Winterdagen’s DJ sets have shifted from mostly ambient explorations to a more rhythmic approach. Combining forward-thinking club music with emotional synth build-ups, Winterdagen is set on intertwining energy and melancholy.
