Wisconsin Drops 3 Future Stars | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class takes a hit as three developmental players—cornerbacks Jahmare Washington and Remington Moss, and defensive lineman Torin Pettaway—are no longer on the roster. Though not expected to play this season, their departure weakens future depth in the secondary, where the Badgers prioritize long, fast corners. Pettaway, a local DL still rehabbing, was a longer-term project and his exit won’t disrupt current plans. The program is already reloading for 2027 with top-tier defensive backs, showing they’re focused on building for the future, not panicking over short-term roster shifts.
