Wisconsin Football Camp Standouts & Struggles | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Fall camp wrapped up with breakout stars and hidden gems shaping Wisconsin’s 2024 roster—Eric Fletcher locked down cornerback duties, Eugene Hilton Jr. dazzled as a receiver, and Colton Joseph showed leadership flashes behind center. Nate Palmer could be thrust into the RB rotation fast due to injuries, while Shamar Rigby made a huge comeback after injury. PJ Wilkins is set to start at left tackle, and Stylz Blackmon’s rise could earn him Week One snaps. Inside linebacker duo Heiberger and Kamara impressed, giving depth confidence. But not all is smooth: Ryan Hopkins didn’t edge out Deuce Adams for backup QB, injured OLs Heywood and Mandell lost reps, and center Ryan Cory’s snap issues remain a red flag as the Badgers gear up for Notre Dame in September.
