Wisconsin Lands Big In-State OL Commit

Wisconsin just pulled off a major in-state recruiting win, snagging 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive lineman Jack Tabbert from Pewaukee for the 2027 class. After originally committing to North Dakota State in March, Tabbert flipped his decision after a standout performance at a Wisconsin showcase, where the Badgers’ offer from offensive line coach Eric Mateos sealed the deal. Known for his power and agility—especially his explosive pull plays—Tabbert stood out among eight other top in-state linemen in Wisconsin’s 2027 class, ultimately choosing the home-state program over eleven other offers. This move not only bolsters Wisconsin’s offensive line depth but also highlights their knack for locking down elite local talent.
