Wisconsin Lands Elite DL Yahzeen Zion

Wisconsin just pulled off a major recruiting coup with the commitment of six-foot-four, 265-pound defensive lineman Yahzeen Zion from Arizona, beating out LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Miami, USC, and even Georgia. Zion’s athleticism—shaped by his basketball background—makes him a versatile, high-impact edge and interior rusher who thrives without extra help. His signing signals Wisconsin’s expanding recruiting reach under Luke Fickell and could ignite momentum for a standout 2027 class, setting the stage for a transformative recruiting cycle.
