Wisconsin Lands Key 2027 Edge Defender

Wisconsin just landed a major recruiting win with Brody Pfannenstiel, a three-star edge defender from Hoisington, Kansas, who flipped from Texas Tech after a three-month push by head coach Luke Fickell and his staff. Standing 6’3” and weighing 225 pounds, Pfannenstiel joins a loaded 2027 class with 11 defensive commits and 23 total recruits, now ranked 18th nationally and 8th in the Big Ten. His commitment over Power Four rivals like Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri underscores Wisconsin’s rising recruiting strength — and sets the stage for a dominant defensive future.
