Wisconsin Lands Top 2027 Safety

Wisconsin just landed their biggest 2027 recruit yet: four-star DB Mekhi Williams, who flipped from Florida State after a pivotal visit to Madison. The Badgers’ late offer, paired with a strong impression from defensive backs coach Paul Haynes, sealed the deal live on CBS Sports College Football’s YouTube channel. Ranked 107th nationally and top safety in Florida, Williams is now Wisconsin’s highest-ranked commit — and could be their second cornerback after Royalton Allen’s recent pledge.
