Wisconsin Lands Top Defensive Prospect

Wisconsin’s recruiting machine just hit another gear, landing four-star defensive lineman Yahzeen Zion—his commitment sealing a whirlwind week that saw four of six visitors flip allegiances. Zion, a 6’4”, 265-pound Arizona standout, chose Madison over powerhouse offers from Oklahoma and LSU, drawn by the Badgers’ relentless campus energy. His 57 tackles, 15.5 TFLs, and 4 sacks last season hint at a versatile future on the defensive line. With Zion’s pledge, Wisconsin’s 2027 class surges into the top 20 nationally, now boasting eight four-stars—proof they’re building a dynasty one recruit at a time.
