He competes in football and track and field while also serving in leadership roles through Link Crew, Student Athlete Leadership Team, and Vikings 1:16. In school, Avery is also involved in National Honor Society, Math NHS, and is a Physical Education Cadet. He values the brotherhood built through sports, crediting those experiences with shaping his work ethic and leadership. He is actively involved in his community through youth sports programs, local events, his church, and service organizations, such as Parker Closet, Bags of Hope, Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. Agriculture has also influenced his life, teaching him the importance of hard work, family, and commitment.
