Wisconsin Targets Top 2027 LB

Wisconsin’s making a big play for top 2027 linebacker prospect Nathan Jones, who’s on campus for an official visit — a late-May move signaling serious interest. Standing 6’3” and 230 lbs, Jones already has offers from Florida State and North Carolina, but Wisconsin’s linebackers coach Tuff Borland is pushing hard, leveraging Jones’ physicality to fit Wisconsin’s tradition of dominant defense. With the Big Ten leaning into physical, run-heavy play, this visit could be a turning point — turning a one-time stop into a return trip and accelerating Jones’ decision.
