Wisdom Grows Where Humility Lives
from The Working Word
Correction is unavoidable in our work and in our lives. Feedback, failure, and difficult conversations reveal more about our hearts than our skills ever could. Proverbs reminds us that wisdom doesn’t begin with intelligence or experience, but with humility before God. A wise person remains teachable. They listen, learn, and grow even when it’s uncomfortable. A scoffer resists correction and bears the cost alone. In our work, our choices matter. How we respond to truth shapes our character, our leadership, and our future. As we move through this week, may we ask ourselves honestly: am I open to wisdom, or resisting it? When we submit our pride and our work to God, He uses every challenge to form us into people of depth, endurance, and grace. Join us again tomorrow for another day of faith within business. Please like, share, and subscribe, and consider passing this along to someone who could use the encouragement today. God bless.
