Wisdom (Part 2)

Sunday Service: August 18, 2024 • Guest Preacher, Pastor Carlos Reyes at HOPE Church in Clarksville, MD Pastor Carlos's sermon emphasizes the importance of wisdom and a heartfelt relationship with God. The sermon explores why God's word often fails to impact people’s lives, attributing it to a lack of true wisdom and understanding. Pastor Carlos stresses the need for believers to seek wisdom through diligent study of the Bible and to let God guide their lives rather than relying on worldly wisdom. He also encourages active participation in faith, urging listeners to be "good soil" that receives and nurtures God's word to bear fruit. The sermon concludes with an invitation for the congregation to seek God's wisdom and to be anointed with oil as a symbolic act of dedication.
