We think thoughts along the lines of “if only I could be better or different than I am.” Talk about one of the most painful states of being. 🧡Shame comes from the belief that you are fundamentally bad or wrong, but what if you’re not and have never been? Would you dare to believe that to be true? 💛Never being wrong doesn’t mean that you are arrogant, in fact it means the opposite.
