Wisdom Wednesday! Are you plowing in season to reap a harvest?

Today is all about plowing in season to either reap a harvest or not. Proverbs 20:4 tell us, “ The Sluggard does not plow in season so at harvest finds nothing.” Don’t you love how the Proverbs gives us practical wisdom on the consequences of our action or non—action? When we do not plow in season we often miss opportunities, we miss God’s blessings and we miss the opportunity to be a blessing to others. Today I dive into this scripture and reflect on how we with reap a harvest or not. Some reflection questions are: what seeds are you planting in your life in your ministry in your family that you are nurturing? Or what seeds are you not. 2) are you plowing in season? What are you investing in? How have you invested in the gifts you are blessed with? Are you moving towards God‘s purpose or away from it? 3) Think about the season you are currently in, is it a season of opportunity or a season of preparation, to sit in prayer and get ready for the next chapter of your life?
