Louise is the founder of Shine with Lou, a space created to help people navigate the Life Interruptions that shake their world and reshape who they become. After a lifetime of unexpected twists - from personal losses to emotional upheavals - a profound turning point three years ago forced her to finally unpack the box of emotions she had spent years tucking away.Lou always says she had a very colourful start to life! One that was shaped by rejection, inconsistency and a deep sense of not feeling good enough. Those early wounds followed her into adulthood, showing up in the relationships she chose, in losing her voice, and even in the heartbreak of losing her son.Back in 2019, she took a huge leap of faith and moved 3,000 miles away on a one-way ticket. It was the first real moment she listened to the part of her that was crying out for something more. That decision opened the door to her healing journey.Three years ago came the biggest Life Interruption of all. After 30 years of living with kidney disease and never letting it stop her, this time she had to stop, finally forcing her to face so much of what she’d been carrying.These last three years have been the most transformative of her life, and they’re the reason she's so passionate about the work she does now. She now helps others navigate their own Life Interruptions because she's lived through them, and she knows how beautifully life can unfold on the other side.What began as her own healing journey has transformed into a mission: to guide others through their next chapter with compassion, honesty and empowerment.
